Welcome to SaiGar 2008, the tournament to find the most bad-ass, manliest character in Anime from the past year. For the past six years, Japanese BBS 2ch has hosted their own tournament, SaiMoe, to find the most admirable, or Moe Anime character around. It's all good fun as well as being serious business, but it can be a little daunting to those who don't know the Moon language.

In response to this, SaiGAR was created to find the manliest badass in Anime. Between January and March 2007, the masses of the Internets decided that the most GAR character of all time was Guts from Berserk, narrowly beating Gundam's Master Asia. And it's back once again to find the biggest badass in Anime.

Porn is supposed to be partially censored, or so I hear. As to why some isn't, people break laws. There are also a few artists who visit English imageboards and post the uncensored originals there.

When it comes to censorship of porn there is one universal rule: someone is always testing the limits.

Right now the level of censoring in many eromangas is as close to the limit as possible. They either have a token small strip, a partially transparent strip or no censorship at all as long as the vaginal lips are closed ("it only counts if you can see the hole"). If they don't censor at all, and are caught, then for a first offense they usually only pay a fine. The rules are stricter for porn movies, no doubt because there are busybodies who are paid to ensure a certain standard.

I haven't heard about Japanese artists posting uncensored stuff in the west. Most of that stuff comes from people that de-censor pictures with image editing programs. Or they simply draw vaginas over pixellated crotches.
